Group Swim Sessions

Swimming on your own can quickly become repetitive. It's easy to lose motivation, wonder what session to do or simply end up swimming the same lengths week after week.

Our Group Swim Sessions remove all of that.

Simply turn up, jump in and follow a professionally planned swim session designed to help you become a stronger, more efficient swimmer while enjoying the motivation of swimming with others.

Every session is personally written by Head Coach Neil Hollingsworth, drawing on years of coaching experience with swimmers ranging from recreational swimmers to Ironman athletes. No two sessions are ever quite the same. Throughout the year we combine technique development, swim fitness, endurance and strength work to create varied, enjoyable sessions that continually develop your swimming.

Swimmers are split into three ability-based lanes, ensuring you're swimming alongside people of a similar pace and ability. This creates a supportive environment where everyone can challenge themselves while still receiving the coaching they need.

Unlike many swim squad sessions where you're simply handed a swim set and left to get on with it, Neil is on poolside throughout every session, providing continuous coaching, technical feedback and encouragement. Small adjustments to your body position, catch, breathing or stroke timing can make a huge difference to your efficiency and confidence in the water, and these are picked up and corrected as you swim.

Our Group Swim Sessions are ideal if you:

  • Want structured swim sessions without having to plan them yourself.

  • Often swim alone and would enjoy the motivation of training with others.

  • Need expert coaching to improve your front crawl technique.

  • Want to build your swim fitness, endurance and strength.

  • Are training for a triathlon, open water swim or pool event.

  • Simply enjoy swimming with friendly, like-minded people.

One of the things we're most proud of is the community we've built. Many of our swimmers have been attending for almost 10 years, not only because they continue to improve, but because they genuinely enjoy the sessions. New friendships have been formed, training partners have been found and there's always plenty of encouragement, laughter and support on poolside.

Whether your goal is to complete your first triathlon, swim your first mile, improve your open water confidence or simply become a faster, more efficient swimmer, our Group Swim Sessions will help you achieve it.

Places are limited within each lane to ensure every swimmer receives individual coaching and feedback. If you'd like to join us, get in touch to check our current availability and we'll help find the lane that's right for you.

Private Swim Coaching & Video Analysis

Available as 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 Sessions

Whether you're learning front crawl for the first time, struggling to swim more than a few lengths, preparing for your first triathlon or you're an experienced swimmer chasing those all-important marginal gains, our Private Swim Coaching & Video Analysis sessions are tailored entirely around you and your goals.

Over the years, Neil has coached swimmers of every level, from complete beginners to professional triathletes, and many triathlon coaches regularly refer their own athletes for specialist swim technique coaching. This breadth of experience means every session is adapted to your individual ability, helping you become a more confident, efficient and enjoyable swimmer.

Unlike a group session, every minute is focused entirely on you. You'll have exclusive use of the pool with either one-to-one coaching or, if you prefer, a two-to-one session with another swimmer of a similar ability.

What's Included?

Every 60-minute coaching session includes:

  • Above and below water video analysis.

  • Poolside video review throughout the session.

  • Expert technical coaching and stroke correction.

  • Personalised drills tailored to your individual needs.

  • Real-time feedback as you swim.

  • All of your videos emailed to you after the session.

  • A discussion of the key drills and technical focus points to continue working on in your own swimming.

This isn't simply a video analysis session or a coaching session—it's a combination of both.

We'll film your stroke, review the footage together, explain what we're seeing, make technical adjustments and then get straight back into the water to put those changes into practice. As your technique improves, we'll continue building on those improvements throughout the session so you leave not only understanding what to change, but feeling the difference in your swimming.

Suitable for All Abilities

Our Private Swim Coaching sessions are suitable for:

  • Complete beginners learning front crawl.

  • Swimmers who can only manage a few lengths before needing to stop.

  • Adults returning to swimming after many years away.

  • Open water swimmers wanting greater confidence and efficiency.

  • Triathletes preparing for their first event through to Ironman.

  • Experienced swimmers looking to refine their technique and become faster with less effort.

Whatever your starting point, every session is tailored specifically to your goals and current ability.

Choose Your Coaching Session

1-to-1 Private Coaching – £90

Receive completely personalised coaching with every minute dedicated to your swimming.

Perfect for swimmers wanting individual attention, expert technical feedback, emailed video analysis and a clear plan to continue improving after the session.

1-to-1 sessions can be booked directly through our online booking system.

2-to-1 Private Coaching – £120 per session (£60 per swimmer)

Enjoy exactly the same premium coaching experience while sharing the session with one other swimmer.

This option is ideal for friends, family members or training partners of a similar ability who would like to improve together while benefiting from above and below water video analysis, expert coaching and personalised feedback.

Don't have someone to attend with? That's absolutely fine.

Many swimmers enquire individually and we're happy to pair swimmers of a similar ability together wherever possible.

As we need two swimmers to confirm each session before hiring the pool, 2-to-1 coaching cannot be booked online.

If you're interested in a 2-to-1 session, please contact Neil directly. If you already have someone you'd like to attend with, we'll arrange a suitable date. If not, we'll add you to our waiting list and contact you once we've matched you with another swimmer of a similar ability.

Why Video Analysis?

One of the biggest breakthroughs swimmers experience is simply seeing themselves swim.

Above and below water video analysis allows you to understand exactly what your stroke is doing and why certain technical issues occur. Combined with immediate coaching and practical drills, you'll leave the session with a clear understanding of what to practise and the confidence to continue improving.

Whether your goal is to swim your first continuous 25 metres, complete your first triathlon, improve your open water swimming or find those marginal gains for your next race, our Private Swim Coaching & Video Analysis sessions are designed to help you achieve your goals.

Adult Beginner Swim Coaching

Build Confidence. Learn to Swim. Enjoy the Water.

Have you always wanted to learn to swim but never had the opportunity?

Do you struggle with confidence in the water or have a fear of swimming that's holding you back?

You're not alone—and you're certainly not too old to learn.

Our Adult Beginner Swim Coaching sessions are specifically designed for adults who are completely new to swimming, lack confidence in the water or simply want to learn front crawl in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Unlike many adult swimming lessons, these sessions are kept intentionally small, with a maximum of just three swimmers, ensuring everyone receives plenty of individual attention.

A Coaching Approach Designed Around You

One of the biggest differences with these sessions is that Neil is in the water with you.

For nervous swimmers, having your coach alongside you rather than standing on the poolside can make a huge difference to confidence, reassurance and progress. It allows demonstrations to be shown up close and provides immediate support whenever it's needed.

Whether you're taking your very first steps into the water or overcoming a lifelong fear, every session progresses at a pace that's comfortable for you.

Who Are These Sessions For?

These sessions are perfect if you:

  • Have never learned to swim.

  • Feel nervous or anxious in the water.

  • Have a fear of swimming that you'd like to overcome.

  • Want to learn front crawl from the very beginning.

  • Would like to feel confident swimming with family on holiday.

  • Want to develop an important life skill in a friendly, supportive environment.

No previous swimming experience is required.

It's Never Too Late to Learn

Many adults believe they've left it too late to learn to swim—but nothing could be further from the truth.

Every year we help adults who never thought they'd feel comfortable in the water build confidence, learn to swim and achieve goals they once thought were impossible.

Whether your ambition is to enjoy swimming on holiday, keep up with your children or grandchildren, improve your fitness or simply conquer a lifelong fear of the water, we're here to help every step of the way.

If you'd like to find out more or check current availability, please get in touch—we'd love to help you begin your swimming journey.
